I won’t deny that I am a rather philosophical, deep-thinking person. And while many may claim that there’s little space for that in design, I beg to differ. Frank Chimero once said,
“To be human is to tinker, to envision a better condition, and decide to work toward it by shaping the world around us.”
This quote to me, is the basis of why I love what I do. I love designing, creating, and making things that connect people. Through my design and marketing I want to build a better world and community for all.
I was born in a generation that coincides with the birth of social media. I recall old Blackberry phones and big, clunky family computers. Yet, most of my young adulthood, teen years, and even childhood were marked by YouTube, Instagram, and the virality of the Internet.
Thus, my interest and passion were piqued. From filming silly YouTube videos with my siblings, to running a wildly successful X account, my experience with social media marketing, creation, and web design have been defining points all throughout my life.
I am overjoyed at the opportunity I have to continue to create and design, exercising my passions on the way towards a degree.
